The opening ceremony of 2023 China 5G+ Industrial Internet Conferencewas held today in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

The China 5G+ Industrial Internet Conference, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Hubei Provincial People's Government, is the first national-level conference in the field of"5G+ Industrial Internet". It has been successfully held in Wuhan for three sessions, and this year marks the fourth session.

During the conference, academiciansand experts will discusshow toaccelerate industrial innovation capabilities, continuously upgradeindustrial structure, and promotein-depth development of 5G+ industrial Internet.

This year, the conference will organize 20 parallel sessions focusing on the typical application and integration innovation of"5G+ industrial Internet" in key sections as new infrastructure, industrial transformation and upgrading, integrated application practice, technological innovation ability, industrial development ecology, security and others. Eight parallel sessions have been held yesterday.

In 2022, the added value of Hubei's digital economy reached 2.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.3percentyearonyear, rankingtop 10 in China and first in central China.
